Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the IAJ President, Mr. Walter Barone, we are pleased to share with you an important training opportunity developed by UNESCO in collaboration with the University of Oxford.
This is a free, open online course titled “AI, Justice and the Rule of Law”, designed for judges, prosecutors, and other judicial professionals worldwide. The course aims to provide a practical introduction to artificial intelligence and its implications for judicial decision-making, judicial independence, and access to justice.
The MOOC consists of six concise modules of approximately two hours each and is available in English, with French and Spanish versions to follow in June 2026. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate from the University of Oxford and UNESCO.
